As one Amazon reviewer stated “The Ken Onion Tactical Blur is one fearsome knife!”.

Checking Out the Blade

The Kershaw Tactical Blur has an awesome clip point blade made from 13C26 stainless steel which is extremely strong and corrosion resistant.

The blade flips out with the flick of your thumb thanks to the SpeedSafe assisted opening mechanism.

The blade measures in at 3-3/8-inches and comes with a smooth or partially serrated blade. sharpen easily though.

While the handle is definitely not the fanciest I’ve ever seen, it serves it’s purpose well. Actually usually the fancier handles are more for show than practicality. The handle on the Blur is made out of lightweight anodized aluminum and has Trac-Tec grip inserts that work great even in wet conditions. When you hand starts sweating, your grip will not decrease much at all.

Inside the handle is housed the assisted opening mechanism that lets you quickly and smoothly open the blade with the flick of your thumb or index finger. The SpeedSafe torsion bar is what keeps the blade closed preventing it from opening while in your pocket.

The Good and the Bad of This Pocket Kife

The Pros

The Cons

So What’s the Verdict on the Kershaw Ken Onion Tactical Blur Knife?

Buy it. You won’t find a nicer folding knife in this price range. The beautiful design, well though out features, strong blade, and overall quality of the Ken Onion Blur is amazing. If you read the Amazon reviews, you’ll see that all of the bad reviews are just faulty knives that people got. It happens and if you get a faulty one (which is highly unlikely) you can always exchange it. There are over 700 4 and 5 star reviews on this knife for a good reason. It deserves it!

Once again, this is the second most popular pocket knife we have on this here site. I have a feeling it will be for a long time to come.
